Temperature-rise test
Check temperature-rise limits of an electrical assembly by current injection
• CEI 61439-1
• NF EN CEI 61439-1
• NF EN 50123-1
The laboratory is equipped with a room for temperature rise tests. It is able to deliver currents up to 6300 A AC / 8000 A DC on the electrical assembly under test, and up to 140 points of simultaneous temperature rise measurements.

- CEI 61439-1
- NF EN CEI 61439-1
- NF EN 50123-1
Laboratory characteristics :
- Current:
- Up to 6300 A AC at 10V
- 630 A AC at 40 V
- 250 A AC at 80 V
- 6000 A DC at 10 V
- Number of measuring points: up to 140

Power-frequency withstand voltage test
Check insulation level of an electrical assembly by voltage injection
• CEI 61439-1
• NF EN CEI 61439-1
• NF EN 50123-1
The dielectric test is used to check the insulation level of an electrical assembly (construction rules for clearances and creepage distances) by injecting a voltage (up to 15 kV).
References standards:
- CEI 61439-1
- NF EN CEI 61439-1
- NF EN 50123-1
Laboratory characteristics :
- 0 to 5 kV (61439-1)
- 0 to 15 kV (50123-1)
- Resolution : 1 µA
Insulation test
Check resistance of an electrical assembly to avoid leakage currents
• CEI 61439-1
• NF EN CEI 61439-1
The quality of materials and interconnections varies resistance value. This resistance is measured to ensure the absence of leakage current in the electrical assembly under test.
References standards:
- CEI 61439-1
- NF EN CEI 61439-1
Laboratory characteristics :
- Up to 1 MΩ
- Resolution : 0,1 V
Clearances and creepage distances test
Check distances to avoid electric arcs
• CEI 61439-1
• NF EN CEI 61439-1
Checking clearances and creepage distances ensures that construction rules have been respected to avoid electric arcs.
References standards:
- CEI 61439-1
- NF EN CEI 61439-1
Laboratory characteristics :
- Imperial and Metric
- Up to 150 mm
- Resolution : 0,01 mm
Effective earth continuity between grounds test
Check continuity of grounds to avoid equipotential voltage appearance
• CEI 61439-1
• NF EN CEI 61439-1
The purpose of this test is to check the continuity of grounds, in order to avoid any risk of dangerous equipotential voltage appearing on any part of the electrical assembly under test.
