Kohler began as a tiny machine shop and foundry in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States.

From the early 1920s, KOHLER started to be considered as an energy supplier for different industries across the globe.
In 2022, KOHLER gathered all its energy businesses under a single name : KOHLER Energy. KOHLER is now a major worldwide energy supplier.
Today, KOHLER Energy comprises industrial, home and powertrain generating sets, but also switchboards and switchgears.
KOHLER Power Systems EMEA
From 1985 on, even before being part of KOHLER, KOHLER Power Control & Distribution joined the MEUNIER group. SDMO Industries, which is now called KOHLER Power Systems EMEA, was part of this group.
These two companies were officially rebranded as KOHLER in 2022. They offer complete solutions for a reliable continuity and distribution of energy.
